Van Oers has been ISO 27001 certified since January 2020. ISO 27001 is a standard that deals with information security. This standard describes how you can process information security in a process-oriented manner, with the aim of ensuring the confidentiality, availability and integrity of information within an organization.
At Van Oers we have always taken the handling of and protection of (privacy) sensitive information in an honest and confidential manner. This certification is therefore the confirmation that we have arranged the security of information in a certified manner. Annual checks ensure that this remains the case in the future.
The entire service and supporting processes fall within the scope of the certification. This means that all processes and procedures of Van Oers comply with ISO 27001 standards and the associated measures.
Personal data must be stored and processed carefully. When designing our information security management system, which consists of policies, procedures, organizational and technical measures, privacy is included in the design. This means that appropriate measures and requirements from privacy legislation are given substance.
We are aware that information security is not a one-time job. That is why we continuously pay attention to our information security management system through a Plan, Do, Check, Act cycle and make adjustments where necessary. Annual external checks ensure that our information security remains demonstrably in order.
